3. After you’ve set up access, your Google Nest Doorbell uses familiar face detection to verify your neighbor as they come near the door.
4. Your ADT security system will disarm and unlock the door when the approachee is authenticated as a permitted user.
5. You are sent immediate updates as your friend, neighbor, or family member enters and departs. The app also provides a complete log. 
6. Once the trusted neighbor departs, your smart door lock secures independently to shield your home.

You can authorize access for any person you want, such as a repair person, dog walker, or a friend who arrives when you’re away. This service is also useful during urgent situations, particularly when you’re away. For example, if a water sensor goes off, your system can authorize event-driven access so an individual can enter and switch off the water supply. Programming permissions is simple with the helpful app.
